Beeswax and food-grade mineral oil. Nothing you can't pronounce.

Safe for cutting boards, bowls and the things you eat from.

Repairable

A scratch? Just wax over it. Wood stays wood, never plasticky.

Made on the bench, not in a factory.

I'm a hobby woodworker in Höör, Skåne. I started blending this wax because I wanted to finish my own boards and spoons with something simple and honest — no plastics, no fumes, nothing I'd worry about near food.

It worked so well that friends kept asking for a tin. So I make it in small batches: melt the beeswax, fold in the mineral oil, pour it warm into 120 ml tins and label every one by hand.

How to use

Four steps from new to nourished.

It really is this easy — no brushes, no smell, no waiting around.

Apply

A thin, even layer — follow the grain.

Wait

Let it soak in for about 20 minutes.

Buff

Wipe back the excess to a soft sheen.

4

Repeat

Re-wax whenever the wood looks dry.

  1. Apply a generous, but not excessive, layer of wax to the surface.
  2. Allow the wax to sit for at least 20 minutes.
  3. Remove the excess wax and buff the surface to the desired shine.
  4. Repeat if and when needed.
